GZ is not exactly on the co-ords but within about 6 foot / 2 meters and could be in the sun, but it won't cast a shadow.
Just to the west of here there are a series of 4 large murals showing the history of the town on an interesting backing “canvas”. In the building you are now standing in there was originally an information stand with 4 quadrants to it, now been moved to a different position It had some interesting information on it for example, how many sheep were on Logan Downs in 1927, How many of the shearers that were tried for offences and actually found guilty, In what year was the Shearers Strike? This was the same shearers strike as was going on in Winton when Banjo Patterson penned the Words of “Waltzing Matilda”. The Qld Mounted Infantry were sent up to quell the violence. While they were here they chased some Emu’s and pulled their feathers and put them into their hats. The Emu Feathers in the hats of the Australian Light Horse Regiments date from this incident. No clues from this board, just need to get you in the correct position and facing the correct direction. Some of the strikers settled in South America to set up a socialist utopia, face towards that direction, now decrypting the hint below should result in a smiley face!!!!
