Geocache Description:

The cache itself is a 22x15x11 cm big kitchen box hidden appr. 1 m high in a hollow of a tree in a group at the end of the Rózsa-berek (Rose-grove) study path near Kecel.

Intro:
This is a short hike along the Forestry study path and the Rose-grove study path near Kecel.
It can be walked along all year but of course you can drive in as well on a good quality dirt road up to the cache.
To get the exact coordinates of the cache (22x15x11 cm big kitchen box) you have to collect the missing numbers from the listed "stations" while walking along the path and then replace them with the letters A,B,C and D.

The surroundings:
Forestry study path:
It was established in 2007. with the aim of introducing the sylviculture ont he sand of the lowland. Along your way you can meet forests of poplar trees, young and old oak trees.
Rose-grove study path:
It is a quite long study path, ot is more than 5 km long.
The study path introduces the ways of the usage of the land nearby: plow-land, pasture-lands on the sand for sheep, viticultures, forestations.
The beginning of the Rose-grove study path and the Forestry study path overlap each other, then the Rose-grove study path continues side by side with the Danube valley main channel.
Orjeg:
The last third of the Rose-grove study path leads into the "Orjeg", which is a conservational area from 1984. It is a remainder of the marshland of the Danube in the quartaer. The word "Orjeg" itself is a local name of the moorland, marshland.
Among the rich flora a wide range of protected animals can be found: the rare and very careful small predator, the Ermine, the Steppe polecat and the Eurasian otter. The bird-life of the area is also very rich due to the varuety of the habitat.

The cache:
Approach: From Kecel to Sükösd on the right side of the road no.54, at the kilometre-stone no. 62, where some boards marked with arrows show the right direction to go. The Forestry study path and the beginning of the Rose-grove study path overlap each other and they start from the same point.
