As Termas dos Frades, estão situadas a meio caminho entre a
povoação da Maceira e a Praia do Porto Novo. Todo
este conjunto está rodeado de frondoso arvoredo e as
paisagens envolventes, são uma mistura entre as rochas que
delimitam o vale do Rio Alcabrichel e a vegetação
própria da zona criando um cenário bastante
convidativo, marcado por um verdejante arvoredo que inspira uma
calma e ao equilíbrio
The Health of Friars, lies halfway between the village of Maceira
and Praia do Porto Novo. All this set is surrounded by leafy trees
and the surrounding landscapes, are a mixture between the rocks
which delimit the valley of the River Alcabrichel and vegetation of
the area creating a very inviting scenario, marked by a green trees
that inspired the calm and balance.
A Buvete, local onde é dada água aos utentes termais,
sob prescrição médica, está localizada
no exterior, integrada num espaço coberto rodeado de
magníficos jardins. O Rio Alcabrichel passa bem junto ao
edifício termal a caminho da foz na Praia de Porto Novo.
The Buvete, where water is given to users spas, under prescription,
is located abroad as part of a covered space surrounded by
magnificent gardens. The Rio Alcabrichel goes well with the
building thermal path to the mouth of the Beach Porto Novo.

são especialmente indicadas para a prevenção e
tratamento de perturbações dispépticas,
disfunções hepato-vesiculares, afecções
crónicas dos rins, bexiga e certostipos de dermatoses.
Fertile in mineral and medicinal waters that have become famous
since long-time, the SPA are particularly good for prevention and
treatment of disorders dispépticas, dysfunction
hepato-vesicular, chronic disorders of the kidneys and bladder and
certain types of skin diseases.
A Cache
A Abordagem à cache pode ser feita de duas formas:
* Estacionar o carro em Porto Novo (Waypoint 2) e seguir a
pé por estrada particular mas cujo acesso é
permitido, junto do rio alacabrichel que serpenteia o vale entre
colinas de escarpas calcárias, 1,5 km a pé, esta
é a forma que nós aconselhamos pois vale a pena
contemplar a paisagem.
* Estacionar o carro junto às portagens (Waypoint 1) antes
das termas e seguir a pé até à cache.
A cache não se encontra junto das termas, está um
pouco afastada de forma a ficar mais protegida dos muggles.
The Cache
The approach to the cache can be done in two ways:
* Parking the car in Porto Novo (Waypoint 2) and then walk by
private road but whose access is allowed, with the river that winds
alacabrichel valley between the hills of limestone cliffs, 1.5 km
walk, this is the way we aconcelhamos because it is worth
compemplar the landscape.
* Parking the car at the toll (Waypoint 1) before the spa and then
walk to the cache. The cache is not at the spa, is a little away so
that it is more protected from muggles.
