Geocache Description:

located at a small lookout, park your car and enjoy the vista. But beware its not called the oven for nothing. mid day sun can scorch.

Kaimuki is an ancient Hawaiian name - Where as "imu" means oven. If you go at the wrong time (mid day) you might feel like you are in one. The lookout is a hidden gem. it holds about two cars so be prepared to hike up if the parking is full. enjoy the area and explore the nature preserve/park if you can make your way through the thick brush. There is a tiny trail about 100 feet uphill from the cache.

It is a well traveled area so keep a lookout for the frequent muggle sneak attacks. CITO whenever possible.

The Diamond Head view is amazing...
