Shelley's Walk Traditional Cache
Curious Kitten: I visited the cache after the last three logs recorded DNFs. It has been muggled again so I have made the decision to archive this one.
After almost 7 years of batting for Port Macquarie 'Shelley's Walk' has had a pretty good innings and has now declared so that perhaps a new cache can start afresh in the area.

Park at the Shelley Beach carpark and go from there. There is a slight incline to the cache but total walking distance is less than 500 metres.
You are looking for a medium sized green rectangular container which is well camouflaged. Make sure you make the effort to re-use the props to camouflage the cache once you have finished so that it is not spotted by potential mugglers who use the nearby path. The cache holds a pen and log book and a VIP McDonald's card for the FTF, along with some currency. Enjoy a swim afterwards at the beach and read about Harry, the 'Mayor' of Shelly Beach who years ago had been travelling with his wife around Australia in a caravan when it broke down here - so he decided to live here permanently at Shelley Beach and became its unofficial custodian, keeping it clean until his death.
The tree canopy is notorious for interfering with signals, but I had no problems. If you have satellite problems the following hint will compensate.
