Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches in Prince Gallitzin State Park that are designed for families with small children. We placed these caches with our one year old son so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful state park. Remember that all state parks close at sunset, so no night caching. The FTF gets a one of a kind key ring!

Park at Beaverdam Run and take the Glenndale trail in order to cross over the Glenndale Dam and into the woods on the other side. This is an easy walk that is fairly flat. Once in the woods, be mindful of branches. The walk from the parking lot to the cache is about .66 mile one way. You can use a stroller up until the last 10 feet to the cache, so if there are 2 adults, one can wait on the trail with the stroller while the other goes to the cache. Enjoy the beautiful lake on the walk.
