Blue Is The Colour
This happens to be the name of an album by one of my favourite bands, The Beautiful South. It contains some song titles which seem quite apt for this cache:
- Little Blue – you may be if you can’t solve, or find;
- Mirror – a good tool for all cachers;
- Have Fun – yeah right;
- Foundations – what does make good foundations; and
- Alone – hopefully muggles wont be a problem at GZ
Blue is often chosen as the colour for painting water, but the water at the dummy coords would probably be painted as brown.
Blue is also a primary colour, quite useful in painting – however, if you’ve seen any of my drawings you’ll know I’m no artist; so I’ll stick to painting walls.
Anyway, to solve the puzzle, you’ll need to learn to Paint By Numbers, to reveal the final location. Paint By Numbers is a logic puzzle that was invented by Tetsuya Nishio and Non Ishida:
- The numbers above the columns, or beside the rows, indicate the size of blocks that are in that column or row;
- Blocks must be separated by at least one space.
- The order of the numbers indicate the order of the block sizes. Eg. 1 3 9 means that the first block is 1 unit wide, the next is 3 units wide and the final one is 9 units wide.
