Geocache Description:

Well this GZ brings you to a lovely little spot in Bullengarook, just off the main road and by a lovely creek. The name of the cache comes from my Mum, affectionally known as Gabby to her grandchildren. Mum used to come all the way out here for picnics with her family (From SE Melbourne) when she was a child, circa 1953. The area looked a little different back then.. the spot they used to visit was actually on the other side of the road where there are now blackberries.

This is also one of the spots that we visit when it's been raining hard for a while.. so rare these days to see a road covered in water or a healthy creek flowing fast. When it rains a lot around this area the creek in front of you comes right up as you can see in the photo's I've posted.

Irrespective of the history to me, or the level of the creek, it's just a lovely quiet spot to stop for a break and relax. I love sitting here, soaking up the morning sun on a Spring morning.

The kids should also enjoy this one.. you can safely set them free with the GPSr and let them go find the hide.

You're looking for a clear sistema, medium size, about 600ml. we hope you enjoy the swaps.

It's what I'd call a drive by cache, so it's a nice and easy find, but I hope you really enjoy the spot. Bring along a cuppa and a sandwich and you might even get a visit from the local kookaburras.
