Tahosa and Sons: Well I think this cache had a long life, considering the area it was located in. Since it gets so little attention to its remoteness I beleive it is time to send this cache to the bone yard. My urge to hike that hill and hide it again has waned, but I have other areas that require a good hike, so all is not lost.
For those that have looked for and discovered this cache in the back country I thank you for the opportunity to read your logs and what you have had to say about this cache.

Geocache Description:

Trailhead is about 8 mi. south of Estes Park on Rt. 36 Trail starts at 7390 ft. goes to 8658 ft. gain of 1580 ft. for a distance of 4.75 mi. A nice hike with lots of history on its route.

If you use the Homestead Meadows WP-GC64BC this will be your safe route to the Cache.

Look for the signs in the middle of nowhere, when you find the 15/14 "marker" you are almost there. The map for the real location of the cache is in a metal container; its compass bearing to the marker is aproximately 315.5 deg. TN and approximately 40ft. After you find the map just plot your course to the REAL CACHE.

When you finaly reach the high ground, after a small hike on the ridge, look around (Jimmy Buffet) and under a small tree do I lie. Please cover me nice when you leave. Thanks
