Geocache Description:

Small lock & lock container.

A Flashbulb Memory is a memory that was laid down in great detail during a personally significant event, often a shocking event of national or international importance. These memories are perceived to have a "photographic" quality. They are often vividly recalled, even sometime after the event. For example, a great many people can remember where they were when they heard of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 or the assassination of President Kennedy, civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. or musician John Lennon.

Fifty years ago I was a third grader in Mrs. Cantrell's classroom here at Lagunitas School when I heard the news that JFK had been shot. The memory is so fresh in my mind that is seems as though it was only yesterday.

A 1964 JFK silver half dollar awaits the first to find!
Congratulations to Brewmonkey for first to find!
