River Runs
Lots of fun out here, especially for jetboaters, 4wd and mountain-biking. After finding a number of buried caches in Australia, I thought it would be fun to have a buried cache here - at least for experimentation mwahahahaha.
Tanewha2 also helped me place the cache, after I introduced her to geocaching today and she has logged her first two finds. You have me to thank that this cache doesn't lie in the middle of a bush of prickles ;) LOL!
The coordinates are pretty accurate when triangulating from outside the trees, accuracy is worse but still within 15-20m at the cache location when under the trees. You'll need to think like a cache hider, and the cache is symbolically marked.
Overall Difficulty: The box has been buried and is covered in leaf litter and twigs. This makes it quite difficult.
Terrain Difficulty: Relatively easy to get very close to the cache, beware of the undulating ground.
Container: The container is a 1.3L snap-lock rectangular container that has been camo-painted. If you are going to swap items, make sure the ones you bring are small.
Contents:
- Citronella Candle
- Bath Salts
- Happy Man
- Smiley Balloons
- Black Bat
Risks: Beware of the following: -
- The odd prickle
- Gravel roads
- Drivers on gravel roads
- Flooding :)
Good Luck!
