Evanston Neighborhood Parks - Series Installment #6
This is a small, round top, camo container. Bring your own pen/pencil.
Clinton Merrick served on the Evanston City Council from 1925 - 1944. His service on the council was recognized through the creation of this rose park.
In 1974, the park was recognized by the All American Rose Selections with the Public Rose Garden Award.
Enjoy the park and the fountain which is in the south side of the lawn.
I placed the cache in spot that is the norm for this series, and in a way that will not require you to step on or near any of the planted roses.
*A small financial prize awaits FTF!
**Fishnic on the FTF!
