Geocache Description:

Placed just a few steps above the edge of Barber Road where a few trees and boulders form a small but perfect hide-away. Barber Road is actually a well-graded truck trail that has gentle uphill and downhill rises along the way. No peaks to climb and no bushes to whack.

One thing sure, old-time cowboy and indian movies always featured an exciting ambush where arrows and/or bullets were exchanged without limit. Good thing was that nobody ever got hurt during an ambush and nobody used any bad language.

As a Gene Autry fan from the late 1930s and early 1940s Harmon of SD Rowdies has a good eye for a proper C&I ambush spot. Just such an ambush spot caught his eye as he tromped along Barber Road and so he couldn't resist planting a new Geocache there.

Come see if it isn't so, a perfect ambush spot that would allow one to hide and be ready to pounce down on a passing Geocacher ... whooping and shouting in the old-time way.

Trouble was that he got home without the coordinates and so couldn't submit the cache for approval. Luckily Splashman and Splashette accepted the challenge of spotting this location based upon a verbal description. Seems that they too have a good eye for an ambush spot and a practiced ear for Texas talk.
