This cache is for the CAR event, and should not be sought out until after 5:30 pm on August 29th. Any logs before that will be deleted.

We are all familiar with HMV music stores, but do you know what the acronym means? ‘Nipper’ is a very well known marketing icon. In North America he is known as the RCA Dog, but he began his advertising career in England in 1884. A cross between a bull terrier and a fox terrier, Nipper liked to listen attentively to an old phonograph, and it occurred to his new owner that he might be waiting to hear the voice of his master that recently passed away. This was the inspiration for the famous painting by Francis Barraud in 1895, which shows Nipper and a gramophone. The painting was named “His Master’s Voice” and became the advertising trademark for The Victor Talking Machine Company, RCA ,and later HMV records and music stores. Located in a residential offleash park, this is the fifth cache in the Famous Dog series. The cache container is small and is filled with dog related items, as well as a HMV gift card for the FTF.
