Geocache Description:

Located on Point Lake overlooking Peterson's Point Lake Lodge.

------------------------------------------------------------

This cache is dedicated to the memory of James Steven Peterson (1944-2008)

Outfitter, Tourism Advocate and Friend

------------------------------------------------------------

In 1984 Jim achieved his life long dream and opened Peterson's Point Lake Lodge, on the west end of Point Lake, 220 miles north of Yellowknife.

The cache is a camouflaged loc-N-loc container hidden on the barrens, overlooking Point Lake and the lodge that Jim created. The cache is at the Inukshuk my family and I erected in 2006 and near a claim post marking the boundary of the 'Jim' claim

The cache contains only contains a log and does not contain any trade items. I had sub 2m accuracy when placing the cache.

If you knew Jim please take the time to write a few of your memories. If not, log your visit and enjoy the magnificent view of Point Lake and the Barrens.
