Geocache Description:

This cache was set by one of the groups taking geocaching training as one of the courses offered during the annual Outdoor Women's Program.

In a three hour training session, the group moves from holding a GPSr for the first time, to learning the principles and basics of GPS for survival purposes to learning about geocaching.

The graduation exercise involves each student finding a geocache using their GPSr and then the group sets an actual geocache.

While this geocache will be used for students in future programs to find, the cache is near but not on the private land of the Alford Lake Hunter Education Camp and was set for all geocachers to enjoy.
