Once upon a time there was a lizard that loved to take his baths in Saganashkee Slough. The reason he took his baths in Saganashkee Slough was because he didn’t have a big enough home to install a shower and tub. He knew this was a problem, so he had been saving up money to establish a decent sized area to bathe without having to depart from his home he so dearly loved. One day, after having a long bath to clear his stress from work, he went home to count how much money he had saved up. After counting the money he needed, he then saw he had saved waaay over than what he’d planned – and had enough to remodel his whole entire home! After quite some time of planning, he came to the decision to tear down his small home a construct a new one. Because he had so much money, he decided to take a different approach and create his very own castle instead. So after making a call to the best A&W Cement he could find, his newly assembled home was up in only a short period of time. Others in the community were so jealous of the lizard’s new castle that they found any excuse to venture into the new mansion on the block. In spite of everything, the lizard was pretty smart to realize this, so he created a guest book for people to visit his castle whenever he goes to take a walk, or even a bath… for old time’s sake.
All he asks from people is to keep his home clean and to leave it where they found it, so nobody will come in and trash his place. He asks that everyone please sign his guest book so he can keep track of who’s been there and who hasn’t. This lizard is so generous that he even decided to leave little gifts from his old home and leave it for his new visitors as a treat for being there, but please trade these items because he didn’t save enough for everyone. “Please be courteous,” he says. “After all, this is my new home! ... And please bring a pen!!”
