Verkön är en ö i Storsjön, Jämtland. Den är ungefär två kilometer lång och en dryg kilometer bred.
Ön ägs idag till största delen av Norderöbor medan Slottet och dess tomt ägs av Östersunds kommun.
Till Verkön kan du ta med eget fika eller äta på Slottet som har restaurang, café, konferensmöjligheter och logi – allt i sekelskiftesmiljö. Bord i restaurangen måste förbokas.
Enda förbindelsen med ön är via båt. Ångbåten Thomée och Verköns egna Taxibåtar (från Norderön) kan ta Er dit.
On the island Verkön you can have your own picnic or (and) visit the castle.
Verkön castle has a restaurant, a café, conference facilities and accommodation in turn-of-the-century surroundings. Advance bookings for restaurant. The only connection to the island is by boat. Take the steamer S/S Thomée or the castle’s own boats (from Norderön).
