Geocache Description:


Berkeley County has a number of parks within its borders, but I've noticed, very few of those parks have caches! So this is a little series that will bring you to some of the parks around Martinsburg. Take a little time to enjoy the parks and find a cache while you are there. :) Each log will include a clue for "Berkeley County Park Tour Bonus" (a cache to hopefully be published soon), so be sure to jot it down before leaving. Otherwise, have fun!!

This particular cache is located in Oatesdale Park. Oatesdale Park is a 22 acre park in Martinsburg. There's a stream, several little league fields and an in-line skating rink here. What you are searching for a small to medium sized lock-n-lock container. It has room for swag, travel bugs and coins. If you find the right approach (look for a small "trail"), you shouldn't have to do much bushwhacking. In fact, you should be able to get to this cache even when a game is going on.
