This traditional cache is located in the oldest permanent location for a sport in Springfield. Introduced to Springfield in 1895, the game was relocated from the fairgroundfs to this location. When first placed the cache contained: 3 golf nut golf balls; 9 golf nut tees; 5 memorabilia shadow boxes; 5 golf course motivational posters; a log book and pencils; and a first to find token.
