This cache is located at Mallorytown Landing.
This geocache will take you to a historic gazebo. From there, you can see all kinds of things! The cache is a small, black ammo container that houses a logbook, cache notes, the Parks Canada official policy on Geocaching, and pencils. Note that there are no trade items in this container, and that this cache is not intended for trade items (please report online if there are some present, so they can be removed).
The cache is located in the vicinity of the building. Remember that there is no need to tramp through vegetation to find the cache! Many of the species at the landing provide habitats to sensitive animal life, or are sensitive species themselves. Poison ivy is abundant in the long grass to the east of the shelter.
Since the cache is located in Thousand Islands National Park, remember that you must pay all applicable parking fees in the summer months. This can be done at the Visitor Centre, which is within walking distance of the cache! For more information call the Park at 613-923-5261.

Notez que la cache ne contient aucun objet d’échange, et nous demandons aux géocacheurs de n’en laisser aucun (si vous en trouvez un, veuillez le signaler en ligne afin que nous puissions l’enlever).
La géocache se trouve aux environs du bâtiment. Rappelez vous qu’il n’est pas nécessaire de piétiner la végétation pour la trouver! Beaucoup d’espèces riveraines fournissent un habitat à des animaux vulnérables, ou sont elles mêmes des espèces vulnérables. Prenez note que l’herbe à puce est abondante dans les hautes herbes se dressant à l’est de l’abri.
Comme la cache est située dans le parc national des Mille-Îles, n’oubliez pas que vous devez payer les droits de stationnement en vigueur en été. Pour ce faire, rendez-vous au centre d’accueil. Vous pouvez même faire le trajet à pied à partir de la cache! Pour obtenir des précisions, communiquez avec le parc au 613-923-5261.
