The cache is located in town. There is parking nearby and the location is wheelchair accessible.

What does York Factory, the Anglican Church, and John Franklin, the famous arctic explorer have in common? Find out by locating this official Parks Canada geocache. Read the brochure found in the cache to discover the History of Churchill’s oldest building and to learn its relation to the Canadian National Historic Site, York Factory, the most important Hudson’s bay Company fur trading post on the Hudson Bay. York Factory's main depot building still stands and is accessible by air, water, and snowmobile in the winter. The cache is a small container containing a brochure and a Parks Canada logbook. NOTE: The cache is not located inside the building. Please DO NOT ENTER the without permission. Be polar bear aware while at this location as polar bears frequent this area. For more information on polar bear safety visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre located in the train station at the centre of the town of Churchill.
