Geocache Description:

Denne cache er lagt ud i anledningen af, at vores præst skulle have en chance for at se, hvad han har sagt ja til i 2006. Besøg evt. hans skov GCV9VY – The Vicar's Forest.

This cache is placed when our vicar got a chance to see what he had said yes to in 2006. Visit his forest GCV9VY – The Vicar's Forest.

Harboøre Kirke blev opført 1910 efter at man i 1909 havde nedrevet den oprindelige kirke, fra 1500-tallet, og som havde været igennem mange ombygninger.
Den nuværende kirke er opført i romansk stil. Tårnets nederst del er rester af den oprindelige kirke. Herudover består kirken af skib og kor. Våbenhus er indrettet i korsarmen mod nord.

På kirkegården kan man se flere gravstene med en speciel historie. Bl.a. er der en væg med stene fra drukneulykker hvor fiskerne ikke er drevet i land.

The first church in Harboøre was from 15th century. In 1909 demolish it because the church has got to small and in 1910 was built this church. The tower is the only thing from the old church.

Around the church you can see headstone with a special history. There are also a wall with stones from different shipwrecks. Some stones are about people in the same family.

The cache is a filmcase with a logbook and a pencil. Please do not place thing in the boks.
