Geocache Description:

Please get to the car park by Maple Way and then on to Pine View. do not try to go down the Land of Nod driveway this is private property.

Public footpath through woods. Not for prams and pushchairs.

In an attempt to get ready for the Great South Run I’ve been out running around my local area. As a result I’ve seen some great places to put geocaches and thought why not. As a result you can try and piece together my 4.5 mile run or just stop off at the places I’ve marked and walk to them. Hopefully this series will increase as I get fitter and expand my run. For now though have fun with the first three.

The first one is just off of a public footpath through a place called the Land of Nod. I noticed that there was a memorial plaque on one of the trees for John Hutchinson, but after a bit of web searching couldn't find who he was. As a tribute though I placed this cache so more people might see his tree.

It's a 500ml clip top box with a few small items inside, but nothing too big.

Best parking is on the nearby estate just off of a road called Pine View as there is no other parking nearby.
