This is a pleasant stroll through a beautiful area. You will have to venture off the beaten path slightly to locate this cache, but not far. The park is opened from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but can be reached during closed hours by parking at the chain and walking in. Take time to enjoy this beautiful memorial to the brave men and women of Alabama. This park is only about 1 miles off of interstate 459.
This cache container is a Rubbermaid container held inside another Rubbermaid container. It is camouflaged with some sticks and pine straw. Inside you will find a white Valentino beanie baby, a calculator, 3 mini Swiss army knives, 12 blue pens, a hardback copy of Chicken Soup for the Teen Soul, a small first aid pack, a Bill Elliott tin racing card, and a discovery log. A TRAVEL BUG HAS BEEN ADDED TO THIS CACHE.
