Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden just off the road. Other than that, just park on the side of the road and voila!

History:

Deltona, a bedroom community, was planned and designed by the Deltona Corporation back in 1962 by the Mackle Brothers. With the roads laid out with so many curves in them, one might conclude that they were smoking something! This location was plotted back in the day as a recreational park area. However, as one may have figured out by now, the land was never developed into a park. The city of Deltona currently marks this area as a future recreational development opportunity, but I doubt it will happen any time soon.

The cache:

A standard ammo box marked with one of the "Official Geocache" stickers.

Please be cautious when driving around as this is a neighborhood where children and teens play. Please be aware that there is a Volusia county lift station near the cache, but please do not venture back in there as people have been damaging the equipment. Believe me, there is nothing special back there, just some pipes and whatnot!
