The thirteenth, or thirteenth last, cache in my commuting mystery cache series.
This cache takes you to a roadside plaque and monument, which commemorates the history and naming of the surrounding district. No doubt, there was a degree of ceremony when this plaque was unveiled. Today, it is passed by thousands of people every day, and most would take little notice of its existance, apart from some passing tourists.
I will put this here, so hopefully cachers will notice this as well. Close by is the location of the now archived Bundys Commute #14. Unfortunately, as I am no longer resident in Blackwater, I was unable to maintain it so it has gone by the wayside, but the location is another of those, I would never have seen it but for caching. Back across the railway line, and at the T intersection with the Capricorn Highway, turn right, and travel about 100 metres, and look to the left, amongst a clump of trees about 50 metres to the south of the highway. There are 3 old graves, which most people would not even realise are there. I doubt even some locals are aware of their existence. This was the location of Bundys Commute #14.
PLEASE NOTE- The 2 end caches that the laminated clue in this cache refers to have been archived. The clue now holds no value, and can be removed by the next finder, if I havent got to it beforehand.
FTF honours go to Deathtrip.
