A very easy one! Another one on the way to Doxey marshes. Watch out for muggles, i was almost muggled during planting this! Car parking is available at a children's play area nearby at the end of wooton drive.
After the recent flooding at Doxy marshes my original cache and contents were a little wet! So I got down there and have replaced it with a more substantial container. Thanks to those who have replaced logbook/moved cache to safer ground etc... much appreciated.
You are looking for a small clear container inside you will find a log book, a pen and a few little bits and bobs!
Doxey Marshes Site of Special Scientific Interest is well known, located as it is, at the heart of the busy town of Stafford. The lowland wet grassland habitat that Doxey Marshes represents has reduced by 75% since the end of the Second World War, due to agricultural intensification leading to draining of land. The habitat is one of the most threatened nationally, along with related wildlife such as snipe, lapwing, little ringed plover, otter and water shrew.
