Geocache Description:

Elk River/Queen Shoals public access site

This cache has been placed in memory of my grandfather that has recently passed. My girls and I thought it would be great to start a cache where he lived for the last 40+ years. As a kid my grandfather taught me to fish here, and we used this area for alot of recreational water activities. You can water ski, fish, swim, float and enjoy alot of those hot summer days in this beautiful river.

This area has beautiful mountains and river scenery. This area of the elk river is only 15-24 feet deep and there is various fish species that can be caught.

Contents:
I have started this cache with a TB and TC. I hope it will attract seekers and movers. I have traveled alot with the military and I felt it is time to pass some items on that I think people would enjoy. There are too many items to list but I think there is something for the young and old to enjoy.
