Geocache Description:

One of three Michigan State Fair Geocaches! This one is a small one.

Located with permission on the Michigan State Fairgrounds.

When the fair is going on, then admission is required to come in to find the caches. When the fair is not going on then please come only during daylight hours. Off-season hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the fall and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the winter.

During the fair, any standard parking lot will work.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS DURING OFF FAIR TIMES. When the fair is NOT going on, then the main entrance just off Woodward south of 8 Mile is the way in. The entrance is guarded -- you have to sign in. When asked about your intentions, repsond with the password "memories".

Note that occasionally, the fairgrounds will be "rented out" or unavailable due to other large events. Please take this into consideration if travelling long distances. One can go to the state fair web page to check on these potential events!
