This cache is an ammo box along the Upper Coyote Ridge Trail in Portola State Park.
Upper Coyote Ridge Trail connects Portola State Park with Pescadero Creek County Park. I have slogged up and back a couple times on this trail, and thought others might enjoy a little incentive to do this hike. The trail does follow a ridge, but the trail goes up and down a bit following that ridge.
