Geocache Description:

An easy to find cache near the road designed to lure you into the Highwood Mountains and entice you to climb up to the caches on Arrow and Lava Peaks. Come hither my intrepid cachers.

This cache is located on the Forest Service road that runs north-south through the heart of the Highwood Mountains. It is a 40 mile drive from Great Falls if you come in from the north, 50 miles if you come in from the south. The north route entails 6 creek fords and several miles of brutal road... 4WD only!!!!! The south route is much easier and can be navigated by any two wheel drive car if you are a little careful.

Bring your your hiking boots, some munchies, and a couple of water bottles.... the caches on the nearby peaks are calling to you. It is only an 8.75 mile loop. Go on, I know you want to.
