Another little "twilight zone" that occurs when round designs get
plugged into square spaces.
This area used to be called the "Fairwood Jumps" when I was
a kid growing up in the area. The jumps you now see are a mere
shadow of what used to be there. It was pretty extreme - kind of
like having a half-pipe in the neighborhood. Needless (probably) to
say, a lot of kids got hurt trying to pull off stunts, so some
heavy equipment was brought in to level the terrain to what you see
today.
Container is a small lock-n-lock.
There is no parking in the area, so park in the vicinity of
N 47° 45.687 W 117° 25.616 and cross at
the sidewalk. Bus riders, there is a bus stop on either side of the
street. The cache is placed where it is to provide the maximum
muggle-free-ness possible. Were I smarter, I would have placed a
micro in the little tunnel behind you.
