pallecat: We were on a southbound cache maintenance run. Logs said this on was muggled and they replaced with another small container. When we got to the cache there was a tent and other belongings. We have decided to archive this and place one some where else on this road.

Geocache Description:

Just off of hwy 271 in the Benbow area. You can stay on this road to get back to 101.

This is where the old Twin trees bridge is. This bridge was built in 1918, An old wooden bridge. It was 555 ft long and 24 ft. wide. All that remains of the bridge is the cement abutments. The bridge was replace in 1934 by the Smith point bridge. The cache is a small ammo can containing a first to find prize and other geo swag. Happy caching!
