Geocache Description:

Near the junction of two or three footpaths in woods. We walked there from the Tickled Trout Hotel near J31 of the M6.

Since Easter Sunday 2011 there has been chargeable parking available even closer to the cache from the Brockholes Wetland Nature Reserve.

The cache is a 2 or 3 litre tupperware box, which originally contained a logbook, pencil, pencil sharpener, a number of children's treats and an April Showers Geocoin.

The cache is accessible on public footpaths (part of the Ribble Way) through the Brockholes Quarry Wetland, which has recently been bought by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.

Free short term parking is available on the bridge near the hotel.

By 2012 the cache will be accessible almost directly from the Preston Guild Wheel cycle route.
