The cache is a 2 or 3 litre tupperware box, which originally contained a logbook, pencil, pencil sharpener, a number of children's treats and an April Showers Geocoin.
The cache is accessible on public footpaths (part of the Ribble Way) through the Brockholes Quarry Wetland, which has recently been bought by the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
Free short term parking is available on the bridge near the hotel.
By 2012 the cache will be accessible almost directly from the Preston Guild Wheel cycle route.
