This should be a quick grab & go cache, but stop and visit the
welcome center just down the street while you're here. Due to the
re-construction of the memorial in the spring of 2010 the cache was
moved slightly. Logs may not be very helpful. :~(
Located on the main street of Iron River City, this cache is a
reminder of the area's Veterans who died so we can enjoy the
freedoms we now have. This war memorial is a tribute to veterans of
all wars. This cache is also located next to the Iron County
Recreation Trail so you can get close to it by snowmobile or ATV.
