Geocache Description:


We saw a cache listed called "Endangered Species" during one of our trips to Searcy. There was much speculation in the vehicle about where and what the cache could be like...animals, birds, et al. When we got to the location, we all had a wonderful laugh. No, it wasn't an animal or bird...but it was a pay phone booth. Since cell phones are becoming more and more popular, land lines are growing more and more extinct...especially pay phones. mbl loved the idea so much that whenever she sees a pay phone booth, she wants to place an Endangered Species cache. Well, she accompanied rkl to his morning "breakfast" spot (if you can call it that---he likes it---she doesn't). She looked out the window and there was a perfect endangered species cache spot. Hoo Rah!!! As our luck would have it, by the time we brought the GPS with us to place the cache, the endangered species was gone already. Hence, the name of the cache. You are looking for a film canister.
