Geocache Description:

Marloes Beach is one of the world's greatest beaches. This cache has been set at its southern end, overlooking the entire length.

Marloes Beach is quite rightly known as one of the world's greatest beaches. It is about 2 miles long, is not overlooked by buildings, and so is never overcrowded, as a degree of effort is required to walk to the beach.
The beach has everything that an adventurous family would require. Waves to surf or body board, a wide sandy expanse at low tide for beach games such as cricket, tennis and rounders (or as the Americans say, baseball). It has rockpools for the inquisitive, an island to explore at low tide (Gateholm), and a geological phenomenon for the studious (See Laid Down, Lifted Up Earthcache GCQ7Z8).

This cache celebrates this beach.
