Regular Lock & Lock box

The Atlantic wall was an extensive system of coastal fortifications built by the Germans in 1942 until 1944 during World War II along the western coast of Europe to defend against an anticipated Allied invasion! Plus the piece of Atlantic Wall built in 1943 in Perthshire! The wall wall built in early 1943 by 43 Brigade, was to practice the D Day landings, There is several breaches in the wall. 17,000 men of the 3rd Assault Division who were assigned to SWORD beach trained in this area. The was an 5 mile exclision zone around area around the wall which was built in secrecy. A rather impressive piece of concrete and steel. In front of the wall is an anti tank ditch plus the reamains of a trench system leading southwest to a command bunker. Please take care walking around wall as there are pieces of metal sticking out the ground.
