Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are NOT the coordinates for this cache. To find this cache you must collect the clues from Childhood memory stroll numbers 1-4
Instructions: You are advised to take a notebook and also consider taking some device for cutting out paper shapes.
This series consists of 4 microcaches each of which contains a tangram shape with a number or numbers on it. Trace the shape onto your notebook page and make a careful note of number and actual place of number on the shape. Please ensure you conserve this cache by replacing the original shape back into the cache box. Repeat the task at each of the remaining 3 micros. Cut the 4 shapes to size and arrange into a square.

You should then be able to read off the last 3 digits of the latitude on the top row of the square ie N 53 25.XXX and the last five digits of the longitude at the bottom of the square W001 06.YYY. These coordinates will take you to the 5th cache in this series. PLEASE STICK TO THE FOOTPATHS ON THE APROACH TO THIS CACHE FROM MICRO 4

Background: I grew up in Tickhill and have fond memories of playing/walking this area. This 3km stroll along tracks and footpaths guides you to some areas that have particular memories.

When quite young, many many years ago my parents often used to take my brother and I for ‘Sunday afternoon walks ‘. On one hot Sunday afternoon we walked along this path. There used to be a stream at this point and a bridge. We saw an enormous snake sunbathing on the grass next to the path. Memory fades but the consensus amongst parents and brother in preparing this cache series was that it was at least a metre in length. None of us stayed long enough to measure its actual length or to confirm that it was adder, grass snake, boa constrictor or even anaconda. Will you have the nerve to retrieve this cache?
Please be careful when replacing the caching. There is a steep slope behind and the cache box is liable to slip. I have tried to put a couple of stones in place to hold it back.

When you have finished this cache retrace your steps for about 200m., follow the footpath through the farm and back to the Mill Dam. Hopefully you will find an Ice Cream van or even a pint at the Millstone??
