Geocache Description:

The Spirits of Stone Mountain Cemetery have taken over my radio studios.

PLEASE NOTE: The Cemetery is closed from Dusk until Dawn.
DO NOT HUNT THIS CACHE AT NIGHT! YOU WILL GET ARRESTED!

This should be a relatively easy 2 stage multi for you to find, after you figure out where stage 1 is.

There are 2 possible ways for you to find stage 1.
METHOD 1:
This is the easier of the 2 methods. Please read on to proceed with this more entertaining method.

Stage 1 or the Final cache is not located at the posted coordinates.
But the coordinates will take you the the main entrance of the cemetery where you will find a plaque mounted on a pole that is used to decrypt the hint provided below. The closest parking to this spot is across the street, should you decide to decrypt the hint.

On August 20th, 2008, I was getting ready to activate this cache. When I came back to edit this cache page, I noticed that all of my text had vanished. Since it was late at night, I did not feel like re-writing the entire cache, so instead I just decided to go to bed.

The next morning, I saw a note written in what looked like blood on our bathroom mirror. It read: "Turn on your radio to AM 1130 and listen."

Being very suspicious, I grabbed my portable mp3 player. I turned it on in record mode, turned the clock radio back on and tuned to the frequency. I heard something very strange. After listening for a minute or so, I had a feeling that something was going on back in my radio studio. So I went out to investigate to find that some of my live broadcast gear was on and not like I left it last night. When I came back in, there was only static coming out of the radio.

I then played back the mp3 file I just recorded to hear what I missed. It did not take me long to figure out what was going on. Apparently the spirits of the cemetery have altered my cache. I was able to retrieve the recording for you to listen to. After listening to the audio file, you should be able to find the location of Stage 1 to this cache. You can download the MP3 file by clicking on the link following the disclaimer.

METHOD 2: If you are unable to download and listen to an mp3 file, use this method. Using method 1, You will have to take a short tour of the cemetery. You will need a compass and knowledge of how to shoot a bearing. You will not have to walk onto anyone's plot. You can stay on the road at all locations.
1> Start at the posted coordinates, walk 272 feet at 339° and locate a Cemetery marker which has a circa date and some rules on it.
2> Standing on the road facing the marker, proceed 499 feet at 354° and visit David and Helen Drozak.
3> From here walk 323 feet at 59° and locate A.J. Baxter and say hello to him.
4> After a short chat with AJ, walk 272 feet 305° to the Hicks family.
5> Aldophus and Phylis Rector have ask that you vist them 0.11 miles away at 137°.
6> They will tell you to walk up the road 0.14 miles at 349° to Stage 1 of this multi.

Good luck and have fun.

Hint:
[Stage 1] 331,152,211,426,542,641,178,343,534,443,263
[Final] 243,912,438,564,822,135,461,382,161

The hints above are encrypted in an unusual way. If you really need hints, you must WORK for them by decrypting them by following the instructions below. You will probably find the cache faster by NOT using the hints. The time it takes to decrypt this may not be worth it to you.

Each letter of the hint is coded with a 3 digit number.
The first digit tells you what line number the letter is on.
The second digit tells you what word number in that line the letter is in.
The third digit tells you what letter number to use in that word.

At the posted coordinates, you will find a plaque mounted on a pole. NOTE THAT LINE 1 ON THE PLAQUE HAS 7 WORDS!!! Decode the hint by using the line number, word number, and the letter number.

EXAMPLE: If you see the number 176, the letter would be decoded as the letter "x".
Line 1, word 7 has thirteen letters. The 6th letter is the letter 'x'.
