This is a call to all geocachers in Alaska to come let your opinion be heard. Geocache Alaska has been around for several years now as a loose knit group of some hard working individuals who selflessly put their energies into our sport so we can all enjoy one of the greatest places in America if not the World to geocache. The question at hand is should we unite? Should Geocache Alaska unify so there is an actual organization behind the work that is being done with Land Managers across the State in order to provide more areas in which we can play.
Come and let you voice be heard. That is what Geocache Alaska is all about, enabling us all to enjoy our hobby and empowering us to be responsible in our use of the lands accessible to the game.
Here is your opportunity to express your opinion and help further the evolution of Geocache Alaska.
This will be an open forum for discussion with an agenda.
The agenda for discussion includes:
• Formal Resolution to unify as a non-profit organization
• Type of organization structure
• Establishment of a small group to seek out and identify critical decision-making land managers who will be targets for informational meetings.
This is a Dutch treat event and the establishment is very hospitable to large groups.
Come down and join us and let's see where the future of Geocache Alaska leads.
