Letter Box is on owners property. Terrain is basically grassed trails, no bushwacking, please respect environment (ie trash), stay on trails as there is poison ivy, etc. Not responsible for injury, so please be careful, but enjoy the nature and trails.
The grid is for parking. To arrive at the parking place, take Bowman Ave. north out of Danville, Illinois. Go to 2750 North rd. (Bismarck, IL) and turn Left (west). Go 1 mile to the "shakerag road" intersection (1700 E.), go just past it to the pull off to your right just between the trailer park and woods. Park there on the north side of 2750 North Road. After getting out of your vehicle, enter the property (wooded) to your left on the north side of the ditch, note the geocaching sign on the telephone pole. While facing west, with the geo-pole to your right, walk 75 paces west to the second trail headed north. Take that trail north another 100 paces to the "T". Turn left and walk 36 paces. Take the trail to the left for the last 62 paces. There should be a small multi-forked tree just to your left approx. 10 feet away. The Box is in the forked section of the tree. There may be some poison ivy or sticker branches along the way. After recording your find, you may enjoy the trails. This cache is off limits from November 1st to January 15th each year for hunting season.
