Geocache Description:


The driveway entrance to the reservior is located off of Highway 23 and is shared with the nieghboring farm site.  Please keep to the right (South) as you enter.  The cache is NOT in the farm site.

The cache is a 7" cylinder hidden to match it's surroundings.  It
contains a few small trade items, log and pencil.  You can drive within 100
feet of the cache.



The reservoir was created by Pipestone County and the AREA II Minnesota river basin group as a flood retention structure to help improve the water
quality.  The area is open to the public for fishing however, there is
normally not a lot of activity at the reservoir.  The area is a frequent
stopping site for migrating ducks and geese in the spring and fall.  Enjoy
the area.
