Geocache Description:

"Honey is the complex substance made when the nectar and sweet deposits from plants and trees are gathered, modified and stored in the honeycomb by honey bees as a food source for the colony".

This is one sweet cache! Inside you will find bee and beehive themed items. Please respect the area and do not seek the cache after dark as this is private property. The cache is placed here with permission by the owner.

We really like to place caches in historical areas and this one is such a cache. The Klondike school sat on the corner here. You can still see the foundation next to where you park. It was built by Henry Loud about 1910 then sold to school district #4 and it served the community early in the century. If you meet the owner on your visit she is a wealth of information about the area and has pictures of the old schoolhouse.
