The River Runs NorthDespite having lived in Alaska for over 20 years, I have never stopped along this portion of the old Parks Highway until geocaching!
This cache is located along an old section of the Parks Highway which is now used as a good place to stretch one's legs but also get a good view of the river as it runs north towards its final destination on the Yukon River. Don't be surprised if you see a motorhome or two parked here as the views are great, the camping is free, and the pavement is flat.
