Close your eyes and reach out with your feelings. Rather than being directly at the given location, a bit of geometry is required to find this cache. The location N 37 26.598, W 122 09.327 and the given location are two corners of an equilateral triangle. The cache is at the third corner of the triangle, roughly east of the other two corners. You do not need to disassemble anything or leave the park to reach the cache.
The Spring Animal loves puzzles. One approach is to visit the site, find the 2 corners, and eyeball where the 3rd corner must be. A more advanced approach, which I hope someone will try, is to get out pencil and paper, compute the exact location of the 3rd corner with triangles and trigonometry, and just walk right to it.
The cache is small, but with space to contain small items. Please replace the cache in the exact spot where you found it (there's another natural spot nearby, but it makes the cache a little too hard to find).
This is a nice, quiet park with places to sit, a water fountain, a bocce court, and of course, a spring animal. It's impossible not to smile sitting on that ridiculous thing, so have the camera ready. Also, one block to the east you have the famous Hewlett Packard garage, the birthplace of silicon valley.
