Located at a public boat launch on the Brule River, just north of the dam. Enjoy the walk and bring a camera. For an easier trek, approach from the south path.
This cache is located at the end of a rural road accessible by both cars and ATV's. The site is labeled Recreation Area 28.
At the end of the road there is a parking area, washrooms, a public boat launch, fishing pier, and a hiking trail with a great view of the surrounding river.
This section of the Paint Pond River forms the border between Wi and Mi.
Take the south route for an easier hike, the north route for a little more difficult hike. Either way the cache is less than .25 miles round trip.
The cache container is a medium sized camo'd lock and lock with a logbook, pencils and small swag items.
