You're hunting an ammo can hidden along the hiking trail in the Gator Creek Reserve.

Gator Creek Reserve is located in the Green Swamp Area of Critical State Concern and was purchased in 1999 with the assistance of a Florida Communities Trust grant. The Reserve contains a variety of habitats, including pine flatwoods interspersed with cypress domes. Wildlife that may be observed include deer, turkey, fox squirrels, and gopher tortoises.

Do sign in at the information board in the parking lot near the trailhead, and note that you're there to geocache. Polk County's Environmental Lands Program is receptive to caching. Signing in shows that you appreciate this. Please be respectful of this property, its vegetation & wildlife.
