"Under Starters Orders" is a bonus cache for completing the six Under starters orders series of caches. A walk of approx 3.9 miles in the Rolleston & Upton area skirting the Southwell racecourse, comprising of various sized caches and the usual final cache (ammo box) which contains all the goodies. The walk is on well defined and marked footpaths which includes part of the "Trent Valley Way".
Views of Upton, Southwell Minster, Southwell racecourse, Upton mill and various views of the river greet are just some of the sights encountered on this multi. Some of the footpaths can be quite muddy so wellies or good walking boots are recommended.
The above co ordinates will take you to the parking area of this multicache. In order to obtain the final location you have to complete the following caches in the order below:
Lame Horse Handicap
Upton Novices Steeplechase
Churchwarden's Stakes
Mill Lane Maiden Handicap.
Beechers Brook
Finishing Gate
Each stage will have clues, either numerical, alphabetical or pictorial or a combination of all three which you must make a note of in order to find the resting place of "Under Starters Orders Bonus Cache". Keep your eyes peeled for the clues otherwise you will miss out on the bonus. Please bring along a pen/pencil and paper as the majority of caches do not contain one. The bonus cache has a cachecam, please feel free to take a pic. Once full please notify me and I shall collect and publish the pics.

A small diversion can be made in the village of Upton for half way refreshments at the excellent pub in the village. You could also combine this multi with the "Trent Valley Toolbox" multicache (GCQ1AK) whilst you are in the area. The parking area is also shared with the multicache Dumble Greets The Trent (GC1C46P), so why not make a day of it and claim both multi's. Refreshments are available in Rolleston, Fiskerton and Upton.
